As newly established contractor in the Hamilton area, our client came to us wanting to develop a brand for his business. He wanted something unique that would showcase the way he does business. During our discovery sessions, we learned that he goes the extra mile with every job. His focus is on developing relationships that go beyond the job at hand. His goal is to be a phone call or text message away whenever you have a home improvement project. Focusing on building strong and trusting relationships is a key to success in the contracting industry.
After doing our own research, we noticed opportunity for a brand that is centered around providing honest work and offering amazing customer service. As a result, eliminating that getting “ripped off” feeling people have when it comes to working with contractors. Using his core values we developed three pillars that are the foundation of Panda Contracting, which are care, quality, and value.
When it came to developing the name, we kept in mind his core values. The panda bear is a soft and gentle creature. Even though they are “bears”, they are herbivores and passive. Their main source of nutrition, bamboo has been used as a construction material for centuries. With these attributes, we came to the conclusion that Panda Contracting was the perfect name for our client’s business.
Utilizing the distinctive black spots of a panda we incorporated a vector panda to be hanging off the “P”. The P functions as a bamboo shoot that the panda is latching onto. These concepts were carried forward when crafting the rest of the brand assets and brand guidelines.
A fresh yet inviting logo that lives and breathes his brand. In addition to the logo, we developed a branding guideline to ensure all future marketing projects, whether done by us or by someone else live up to the same standard. We also designed and printed sales collateral including business cards and info brochures. Therefore, enabling our client to live his brand and be set up for sales success.
